It was the day after Independence Day, but it was hot and sunny so we were expecting a lot of people while painting one of Garden of the Gods' many landmarks. There were a lot of people there, but it wasn't so bad. They were all pretty nice and respectful, and we were mostly able to concentrate on our paintings. That's always the issue when plein air painting in touristy areas, but hey at least there is the opportunity to sell on the spot!
