It was the most perfectly calm day you could ever hope to have at the Sonoma Coast. The temperature was perfect and the wind was like a soft breath of cool air, so it was not the usual problem it tends to be. We had to find an "unofficial" trail to get this view. I had never seen the "sharktooth" rock off the coast near Jenner Headlands before, so I was drawn to paint it.
